What Happens When You're Not Looking

He was trying to get away from me so he wouldn't have to take it off.
He was dancing in the aisle.

We were at Walmart last night getting groceries and I was browsing for bibs while Mike was entertaining the onry Stetson. I hear Mike bust out laughing and I turn around and Kendrick had a 3T fleece sleeper on(the kind with the feet in it)! Well, he sort of had it on. The neck of it was half way down his back and he was about to blow the feet out of it. It was one of those moments when you really should get mad but we were laughing too hard. He actually was heart broken when I wouldn't buy it for him. I couldn't help but take a few pix and then hurry and help him get it off before we were kicked out of the store for making a scene!

Blessing Day

I realize this is a long post but there was too many cute pictures to not include most of them. We had a really nice blessing day followed with lunch at Mack Park. Thanks to all our family and friends for their help. It was a really fun day!

It was really fun to see all the kids from both our families playing football and running around together. Bracken is the one with Kohler around his ankles and Alex is trying to help.

First Day of Kindergarten

Well, it is official...my baby now goes to school. He was slightly nervous but really enjoys himself once he gets there. We are still trying to get used to going everyday. Notice how I said "we." I am really proud of Kendrick and miss him every second he is away!

Jam, and More Jam

This is Tara's daughter Jaxen and Stetson zonked out on her couch. The kids were sick of jam too.

This was just my stash. All of Tara's jam was sitting on her counter.

My friend Tara and I got the great idea to do a "few" batches of freezer jam. Tara had done it before but I never had so we went to Brigham to buy fruit. We of course got what we thought we would need to do our few batches of peach, strawberry, and raspberry. Well, needless to say we bought way to much fruit and ended up doing jam at Tara's house till 1:00 am. Now that it is done I am glad she taught me how to make it. Mike came when he got off work to pick up the kids and we talked him into helping us mash some peaches. He was thrilled. We made 48 pints and 12 half pints. Abundance is a blessing and boy do we have an abundance of jam!

Kendrick took swimming lessons again this year at the Aquatic Center. After being in the same beginner class for 3 years in a row (yes, 3) because he was "not brave enough"...he finally passed the class and is able to move to the next level! It was a proud moment for us! He was in class with a little girl that was in his preschool, Ava Wilcox and her little friend Brinley Kidman. I also know Brinley's mom really well, so it was fun to see some familiar faces.

The Family Bed?

Well, our bed is never intentionally the family bed but somehow becomes that many nights and mornings. I couldn't resist taking these pix early one morning while the rest of the crew was sawin' logs. My cute boys!

My boys...we are having so much fun with Stetson and Kendrick! Life is good and we feel very blessed!
