It has been 2 years since my last post! Oops...our blog and I seperated for a while but we are back together! For some unknown reason, my photos are not uploading so stay tuned for pix. I hope you enjoy!

the POWER of PRAYER

My dearest friend Amanda has experienced a major tragedy in her life. Her husband of 8 years was critically injured in a motor cycle accident a few days ago. He was not wearing a helmet so he suffered a traumatic brain injury. The prognosis was not good at first but after multiple surgeries, things are looking up. He has defied all odds and is actually making really unexpected progress. Drew and Amanda are some of the sweetest people you will ever meet. I have known her for about 10 years when we worked together at Sunshine Terrace. They are a darling couple with 2 beautiful children and #3 on the way. Please pray for those around us that are suffering and in need of constant companionship from the Lord. My heart aches for her but I know that they are loved and the Lord will see them through this trial.

Kindergarten Christmas Program

Now I know that this really does not interest anyone else but I had a really fun mom moment yesterday watching Kendrick in his school's Christmas Program. It brings tears to my eyes how cute he is and how big he is getting. The pictures are zoomed in from far away so they are not the most clear. They made cute reindeer T-shirts with their handprints to wear that day. We are really proud of him--he did a great job!

Last weekend we went to SLC with my family to shop(of course), walk around Temple Square and just be together on the 7 yr. anniversary of my mom's passing. We stayed over at The Little America which is always a treat, and just enjoyed each other's company. The only thing different we will do next year is stay another night!

I promised my friend Amanda that I would post our family pictures once they were on my wall. It took a while because I was waiting on Mike to make the frames, but they are up and beautiful!

Wrestle Mania

This was all the fam(except Rob's crew) that came to watch last weeks tournament.
Mike goes out on the mat before and rehearses moves with Kendrick. Mike is pretty passionate about wrestling!

Ready...wrestle!

Kendrick has been doing the Junior Bobcat wrestling program for about a month now. He is really enjoying himself although it is sometimes hard to watch as a mom cuz they get their ego's hurt along with a few minor bodily injuries. Anyone that knows Kendrick very well, knows that wrestling is his nitch. He naturally is very aggressive and roudy so he is definately in his element.

Halloween Fun

We went trick or treating with Natalie, Tug and Stone. Tug was Wolverine and Stone was Spiderman.

This is one of only a few moments that Stetson would be happy in his snow monkey costume. The white hair kept tickling his nose and going in his mouth.

Kendrick had soooo much fun being HULK! He thought he was pretty dang tough!
