My friend Tara and I got the great idea to do a "few" batches of freezer jam. Tara had done it before but I never had so we went to Brigham to buy fruit. We of course got what we thought we would need to do our few batches of peach, strawberry, and raspberry. Well, needless to say we bought way to much fruit and ended up doing jam at Tara's house till 1:00 am. Now that it is done I am glad she taught me how to make it. Mike came when he got off work to pick up the kids and we talked him into helping us mash some peaches. He was thrilled. We made 48 pints and 12 half pints. Abundance is a blessing and boy do we have an abundance of jam!

Summer Swimmin'
Kendrick took swimming lessons again this year at the Aquatic Center. After being in the same beginner class for 3 years in a row (yes, 3) because he was "not brave enough"...he finally passed the class and is able to move to the next level! It was a proud moment for us! He was in class with a little girl that was in his preschool, Ava Wilcox and her little friend Brinley Kidman. I also know Brinley's mom really well, so it was fun to see some familiar faces.

Meet Stetson
Our second son arrived on June 23rd @ 11:50 p.m. I was induced but was acutally in labor when I got to the hospital. Everything went really well and as expected. He weighed 7lbs. 15oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long. He is such a sweet boy! He is a very good baby and Kendrick absolutley loves him. We haven't had any drama with jealousy yet...yet. Kendrick really doesn't seem phased by him much. He walks by and kisses him while on his merry way to play. We are so blessed and relieved that he is here and healthy.

Kendrick Turns 5!
Wow, what a whirlwind of 5 years it has been! We had Kendrick's family birthday party on Sunday, June 7th. We were Batman crazy at the party. Batman everything! We then celebrated his actual birthday with just the three of us on Monday, June 8th. Mike took the day off work and we spent the entire day together as a family having one big last hoorah with Kendrick being our only child. We went to Hogle Zoo, Temple Square, and he wanted to eat mac n' cheese at Chili's. The day was all about him and spending time together. It was one of those days we will never forget! I can't beleive my baby is 5!
